While the first part of this collection featured photos taken during just one summer month, this collection includes photos made during other seasons as well. The common theme is the same. Light in the dark in the quiet of Prague's streets. The latter is the reason why there are not many photos from Prague's overcrowded city center.
The idea behind the photos is an attempt to capture an atmosphere of magical realism in ordinary scenes. Prague works well for this purpose – while it has plenty of classical architectural styles, many buildings have somewhat untidy medieval look to them. These two factors contribute to more atmospheric pictures.
Music was also an inspiration for these photos. The darker photos with lots of golden electric light almost resonate with soundtracks from the Sherlock Holmes movies (the ones with Robert Downey Jr.), while the photos with bluer skies and more vivid lights could easily be associated with Sting songs, such as Mad About You or The Book Of My Life.
