On the 5th of July, 2022, there was a massive thunderstorm in Belgrade. The Belgrade fortress was almost empty, as no one was crazy enough to walk under a heavy rain and lightnings. This presented me with an opportunity to take pictures of the fortress without crowds during daylight. I wasn’t particularly intending to take a picture of the lightning, as I didn’t even have a tripod. But completely by accident – the camera didn’t even have correct settings - I managed to take an almost perfect photo, with lightning appearing right next to Pobednik (The Victor) monument, overlooking Novi Beograd (New Belgrade).
