Milešovka (german Milleschauer) is the tallest mountain of the Bohemian Highlands in the Czech Republic. Peak of the mountain, located 837 meters above sea level, is a home to the oldest mountain-based meteorological observatory in the Czech Republic built in 1903-1904. Nowadays the observatory is managed by the Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The place holds the record of being the windiest and stormiest place in the Czech Republic. There is a viewing tower that is open to the visitors during the summer season. Numerous hiking trails lead up to the peak of the mountain.
